To celebrate 5 years of the Jungle powerhouse that is Run Tingz Recordings, the Bristol based imprint presents it’s 10th release on wax with a remix of Future Prophecies’ seminal D&B track ‘Dreadlock’, by none other than ‘Killa Tingz’, the aptly named collaboration between label stalwarts Serial Killaz & Run Tingz Cru – the first appearance for either artist across any of the Run Tingz’ sub labels in over a year.
The 2015 remix brings this undisputed Breakbeat Kaos classic into the present day with a intoxicating bass reese that will leave the dancefloor for dead. On the flip, the bonus track ‘Sound A Sound’ is another ‘Killa Tingz’ flick that has been doing the rounds in clubs and festivals worldwide in recent times. Expect to hear this battering speaker stacks near you.

So the absolute monstrosity that is Valve Sound System, is returning to Bristol for the first time since the low sound levels that led us to leave Motion Nightclub feeling terribly disappointed back in 2013. Back then it was Bedlam, now it’s for the Let It Roll Festival Warm Up party, presented by Bristol D&B promoter Kinetic.
The artists on the flyer do 100% of the talking on this one, with a relative who’s who in D&B right now of-a-lineup, definitely one of the best to grace Bristol in recent times – if you’re into your Neurofunk & tech rollers that is.
Valve head honcho Dillinja heads up the mainroom lineup alongside Bristol veteran and legend Break, Ram Records’ Audio andItalian Neuro king Maztek, plus Emperor & Frankee, with local support to boot.
Room two, hosted by Bristol boys Self Help Music, boasts a lineup worthy of an event in it’s own right with Xtrah b2b Stealth, Dispatch’s DLR, key scene-risers Gerra & Stone, Chroma, AKOV, plus obligatory support from Self Help Music residents.
After a slight hiatus Run Tingz Recordings are back, presenting the latest addition to the Run Tingz Familia, Kursiva.
The Spanish producer has already been making waves in his home country and is sure to break further into the international scene over the next couple of years. The track features trademark Reggae influences, some seriously heavyweight bass work and a fusion of English and Spanish vocals that highlight the talents of Jahba & Clasiko. The original mix, outstanding in it’s own right, is complimented by a stripped down DnB remix from our very own Terrahawk (Bristol) which is perfect for the MC friendly DJ’s amongst us.
Run Tingz Recordings 010 is going under the knife as we speak and features the Serial Killaz and Run Tingz remix of the mighty Dreadlock (Future Prophecies / Breakbeat Kaos) so keep your eyes peeled for that. We’ve also got Run Tingz Originals 2 & 3 in the pipe line, more tracks from our DopeTingz (Dope Ammo & Run Tingz) co-lab as well as some amazing work from J.Man, Frisk, Gold, Blackout J.A, Topcat and a number of other Run Tingz favourites.
