In keeping the spirit of Glastonbury just gone, we had a ‘fallow week’ on the ‘Weekly Salute’, however we’re back this week and we’re tipping our hat to a Bristol legend in the making, Dr Meaker aka Clive Meaker (would you believe it?).
It’s been a long road to the top for this Bristol resident, however after signing to Circus Records a while back now, his long awaited album ‘Dirt and Soul’ is finally here and is released tomorrow (Friday 1st July). We’ll be dropping some fresh material from the album on the Infidelity Records show on Ujima 98fm, Saturday 2nd July.
Clive is someone we know well within the Infidelity camp having had 3 releases on our sister label Ramajam Recordings – he was a big part of the label’s launch back in 2012, producing the label’s debut release ‘Higher ft. Redskin’ (RAMA001) + Remixes (RAMA002), as well as ‘Styla Reviva ft Redskin’ (RAMA004).
